The HOLA Program is guided by the following organizational principles:
- Intentionality - supporting student access and affordability at the University
- Leadership - developing and empowering Hispanic student leaders
- Ethical behavior - modeling best practices, integrity and responsibility, while providing excellent customer service
- Civic responsibility - engaging students in community service and advocacy to enrich their personal and social development
Assist Armstrong to become a Hispanic-serving institution of choice in Georgia, by leading all University System of Georgia schools in modeling best practices and achieving successful rates of Hispanic/Latino student enrollment, retention and graduation.
“Yo Soy Armstrong” is a spotlight initiative that will showcase the success of our fellow students. In addition, we want them to share with us what makes them “Armstrong?" How has Armstrong impacted them? The student highlighted will be nominated by their peers. Each student showcased is nominated based on their excellence and contribution to Armstrong and the student body. Make sure to keep an eye out for our student spotlights each month! #YoSoyArmstrong #ArmstrongLatino
